Larry Borom - Dealing with injuryBorom suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's loss to the Jets, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports.
ImpactBorom was filling in for Riley Reiff, who had exited with a shoulder injury. With both tackles looking questionable for Sunday against Green Bay, Teven Jenkins could find himself starting opposite Braxton Jones in Week 13.

Michael Carter - Considered day-to-dayCoach Robert Saleh said Monday that Carter has a low-ankle sprain and is considered day-to-day, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.
ImpactSaleh added that he'll have more information Wednesday, when the team begins Week 13 prep, but as of Monday, it appears Carter will have a chance to play Sunday against the Vikings. This appears to be the best-case scenario for the running back, as Saleh specifically noted Carter didn't suffer a high-ankle sprain, per Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record. With Breece Hall (knee) on IR, Carter appears to be the team's No. 1 back ahead of Ty Johnson, Zonovan Knight and mid-season acquisition James Robinson, the latter of whom was a healthy scratch for Week 12.

Darnell Mooney - Out for season per HCCoach Matt Eberflus said Monday that Mooney (ankle) is likely headed to IR and will need ankle surgery, which will end his season, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
ImpactAs expected, Mooney's season is over after suffering an ankle injury on a run play during Sunday's loss to the Jets. He'll end the campaign with 40 receptions on 61 targets for 493 yards and two touchdowns. It'll wind up being a disappointing third season for the wideout, who totaled a career-high 1,055 receiving yards last year.

Nathan Peterman - Doesn't play Week 12Peterman was active as the Bears' backup quarterback but didn't see the field Sunday in the team's 31-10 loss to the Jets.
ImpactPeterman was elevated from the practice squad Saturday in anticipation of the absence of starter Justin Fields (shoulder), who was ultimately placed on the inactive list. Trevor Siemian, who had served as Fields' understudy all season, was in position to step in as the starter, but Siemian's availability for the game suddenly became murky during pregame warmups, when he suffered an oblique injury. Peterman thus appeared on track to get the start leading up to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff, only for the Bears to determine that Siemian's oblique injury wasn't severe enough to prevent him from playing. Siemian ended up taking the field for the Bears' first offensive series and played all 57 snaps in the loss, and provided he didn't experience any setbacks with the oblique during the game, he'll presumably be in line to start Week 13 against the Packers if Fields isn't cleared to play.
