Tyler Larsen - Set to return vs. TennesseeCoach Ron Rivera said Monday that Washington will activate Larsen (achilles) from its physically unable to perform list ahead of Week 5 versus the Titans, Sam Fortier of The Washin...
ImpactWith Chase Roullier (knee) having been placed on the Commanders' injured reserve list just less than two weeks ago and Wes Schweitzer (concussion) also ending up there over the weekend, Larsen's expected return comes right in the nick of time. Nick Martin played center for Washington in Week 4, but it wouldn't come as a surprise to see Larsen step into a starting role right away.

Brian Robinson - Could debut Week 5Coach Ron Rivera said Monday it looks "very promising" Robinson (knee) could play Week 5 versus the Titans, Matthew Paras of The Washington Times reports.
ImpactRobinson hasn't yet been activated off the reserve/non-football injury list, but it's expected that such a move could be looming, with Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post reporting that the rookie running back is in line to participate in practice Wednesday. The Commanders may opt to ease Robinson back into action, but he eventually could eat into the workloads of both Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic this season.

Chase Young - Will remain on PUP for Week 5Coach Ron Rivera said Monday that Young (knee) will not be activated from the physically unable to perform list this week, Sam Fortier of The Washington Post reports.
ImpactYoung sustained ACL and MCL tears in his right knee last November, and while he is still expected to return to play at some point before Week 9, he'll need to sit out at least one more game as he recovers. The 2020 second overall pick out of Ohio State had a great rookie season before taking a bit of a step back and ultimately missing his team's last eight games in 2021. His return should provide a boost to a defense that's allowed 26.8 points per game through four weeks this season.

Jahan Dotson - Could miss timeCoach Ron Rivera noted Monday that Dotson's hamstring injury "might keep him out a week or two," Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
ImpactThough the 2022 first-rounder officially hasn't been ruled for Week 5 action, it looks like he'll be hard-pressed to play Sunday against the Titans based on Rivera's comment. If Dotson does miss time, Dyami Brown, Cam Sims and Dax Milne would be candidates to log added WR snaps behind Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel.

John Bates - Racks up 19 receiving yardsBates secured four of six targets for 19 yards during the Commanders' 25-10 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday.
ImpactBates has struggled to get involved in Washington's passing game early in the 2022 campaign, but he drew a season-high six targets in Week 4, and he was tied with starting tight end Logan Thomas with 19 receiving yards. In spite of Bates' increased involvement Sunday, the 2021 fourth-rounder has been an unreliable fantasy option early this season.

Logan Thomas - Inefficient with five receptionsThomas secured five of his six targets for 19 yards during the Commanders' 25-10 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday.
ImpactThomas played 74 percent of the Commanders' offensive snaps Sunday and led the team in receptions, but he was held under 20 receiving yards for a second consecutive week. The 31-year-old has had fairly consistent targets early in 2022, but he's secured 13 of 20 targets for just 106 yards and a touchdown over the first four weeks of the season.
