Impact The Sens net has been a revolving door, but Forsberg was fantastic Thursday. He was beaten only by a shot that hit the crossbar and then bounced in off the shoulder of a Leafs forward. And then again by a ricochet deflection of his own defender. It was his first start in more than a year. Forsberg was claimed off waivers by the Sens on March 17 and is the fifth goaltender to take to the blue paint in Canada's capital. And the fourth since March 10.

Making Senators debut Forsberg will guard the home net in Thursday's game versus the Maple Leafs, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
Impact Forsberg will make his Senators debut in his fourth NHL apperance since the 2017-18 campaign. The 28-year-old has a mediocre NHL resume, recording a .901 save percentage and a 3.22 GAA across 48 games. He'll have his hands full Thursday, as the Maple Leafs rank fifth in the league with 3.34 goals per game.
