ImpactMartin will get the second half of the back-to-back after Pyotr Kochetkov picked up a 5-1 win over the Coyotes on Friday. Martin won his last appearance, a 3-2 victory over the Bruins, in his Hurricanes debut. He hasn't seen much playing time as the Hurricanes' backup goalie since he was claimed off waivers from the Blue Jackets, and he'll have a tough opponent for his first action in over three weeks.

ImpactGuenther got the Coyotes on the board late in the first period, but he was the only one to get a puck past Pyotr Kochetkov in this contest. The 20-year-old Guenther has three points over five games since the All-Star break. The winger is at five goals, 10 points, 31 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through 16 appearances this season. He should continue to see middle-six usage with power-play time, making him of moderate intrigue for fantasy managers in deeper formats.

Jordan Staal - Generates early assistStaal registered an assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-1 win over the Coyotes.

ImpactStaal has four points over his last four games, which is one of his best stretches of the campaign. He got on the scoresheet quickly with the secondary helper on Jordan Martinook's opening tally 16 seconds into the game Friday. Staal is at 19 points, 85 shots on net, 94 hits, 26 blocked shots, 30 PIM and a minus-10 rating through 53 outings. He's still got time to secure his fourth straight 30-point campaign from his usual third-line role.
