Logs assist in loss Struble had an assist, two shots on net, five blocked shots, two hits and two penalty minutes over 16:38 of ice time in Thursday's 5-3 loss to Carolina.
Impact Struble sent a puck toward the net that eventually found its way onto the stick of Mitchell Stephens, who potted the Canadiens' first goal. The assist gives the rookie defenseman four points through 16 games. It's notable that Struble remained on the active roster while Johnny Kovacevic was a healthy scratch with Jordan Harris returning from a lower-body injury. Struble and Harris, reunited after their days together at Northeastern University, made up one of Montreal's defensive pairings.

Strikes again Struble scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Penguins. He added one blocked shot and three hits over 13:58 of ice time.
Impact Struble showed off his offense for the second time in three games. He started the sequence behind the Montreal net, skated through center ice, made a nice zone-entry pass, then went directly to the net where he cleaned up a loose puck for the Canadiens' second goal. The rookie blueliner now has three points over his first 11 NHL games and is flashing offensive instincts that may keep him employed at the NHL-level.

First NHL goal Struble scored his first NHL goal Saturday in a 3-2 shootout win over the Sabres.
Impact Struble drove the net on a 4-on-4 rush and redirected Johnny Kovacevic's slap-pass past Devon Levi at 12:59 of the second period. Struble is an electric skater, and he loves to use his body. And he has a great shot. It seems like it will be hard to send him back to Laval with strong play like we've seen in his nine games.

Impact Struble played a second consecutive game since being called up from AHL Laval, filling in for the injured Jordan Harris (lower body). He assisted on Montreal's first goal, sliding a no-look pass to Johnny Kovacevic, who closed the gap to 2-1 late in the first period. While both Harris and Arber Xhekaj (upper body) are unavailable, Struble could continue to see on-ice opportunities.

Impact In a corresponding move, Rafael Harvey-Pinard (lower body) was placed on injured reserve. Struble's arrival gives the Canadiens an extra blueliner for the team's upcoming three-game road trip in California. He has one goal, five assists and 29 PIM over 12 AHL contests this campaign.
