The Kings have been slumping of late, going 1-5-4 in their last 10 games.

Impact Quick will take the first game of the Rangers' back-to-back, which means Igor Shesterkin will likely man the crease versus the Lightning on Saturday. After a disappointing stint with the Golden Knights last season, the veteran Quick appears to have rediscovered his game, going 9-1-1 with a 2.27 GAA and two shutouts in 12 outings. Still, Quick is unlikely to unseat Sorokin as the preferred option in goal for the Rangers.

Impact Quick has been sensational this season, going 9-0-1 with a 2.09 GAA and .926 save percentage. Quick has given the Rangers everything they could have asked for since signing him as a UFA in July, as it has allowed them to rest Igor Shesterkin more often. The Oilers are coming off a 6-3 win in New Jersey on Thursday and sit seventh in NHL scoring, averaging 3.43 goals per contest.
