Impact The veteran defenseman missed Minnesota's first game after the All-Star break due to an illness, but he seemed 100 percent healthy Friday as he found the back of the net in the second period before picking up a helper on Kirill Kaprizov's game-winner in the third. Brodin missed over a month in December and January with an upper-body injury, but since getting back in the lineup he's been a key part of the Wild's blue line, delivering a goal and six points in eight games with 18 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating.

It was Kaprizov's fifth game-winner of the season, a mark he's reached in each of the last three campaigns, and he's also now scored 20-plus goals in all four of his seasons in the NHL. In the last 10 games since he returned from an upper-body injury, Kaprizov has piled up seven goals and 13 points.

Impact Facing the team he won three Stanley Cups with, Fleury was solid in his return from an upper-body injury that had sidelined him since Jan. 19. The 39-year-old netminder has shown he can still contribute in a backup role for Minnesota, and in nine appearances since the beginning of January he's gone 3-3-1 with a 2.46 GAA and .912 save percentage.

Impact With a goal and eight assists through 35 games, Bogosian -- who started the season with the Lightning before getting dealt -- has been a decent reinforcement option on the blue line since the Wild announced in mid-January that they'd lose captain Jared Spurgeon (hip) for the rest of the season. Bogosian should be a recognizable name since he's had service time with five different NHL franchises between his 16 years in the league, but he doesn't see action on the power play and the interest in him may be confined to leagues that also count blocked shots as he's picked up 48 of those in just 39 games between the Bolts and Wild.

Impact Eriksson Ek's apple advances his running point total to 40; he has put up 21 goals and 19 assists through 51 games. The top-line pivot only managed one shot in the latest contest, but that's proven to be an outlier, as he's recorded at least two shots in all but five contests in this productive 2023-24 campaign. Remember, Erikson Ek was drafted 20th overall by the Wild in 2015, and the continuity of him sticking with the same team seems to be paying significant dividends.
