Shakir Mukhamadullin - On injured non-roster Mukhamadullin (lower body) was placed on the injured non-roster list Monday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Impact Mukhamadullin has been dealing with a lower-body injury since before the start of training camp, and he didn't return to full health during preseason action. It's not yet clear when he'll be ready to return, but the 22-year-old could head to the minors once he's deemed healthy.

Collin Graf - Sent down Monday Graf was assigned to AHL San Jose on Monday.

Impact Graf got his first taste of NHL action last season, recording two points and seven blocked shots over seven regular-season appearances. He didn't earn a spot on the Sharks' Opening Night roster ahead of the 2024-25 campaign and will likely spend most of this season in the AHL.

Ethan Cardwell - Heading to AHL Cardwell was assigned to AHL San Jose on Monday.

Impact Cardwell spent last season with the Barracuda, tallying 23 goals and 43 points over 71 regular-season appearances. He'll also begin the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him spend most, if not all, of this year in the minors.

Jack Thompson - Heading to AHL Thompson was assigned to AHL San Jose on Monday.

Impact Thompson made his NHL debut last season, making three appearances between the Lightning and the Sharks. He didn't have much of an impact and will begin the 2024-25 campaign. It seems likely that he'll spend most of the season in the minors.

Luca Cagnoni - Assigned to AHL Cagnoni was assigned to AHL San Jose on Monday.

Impact Cagnoni signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Sharks in May but was unable to earn a spot on the team's Opening Night roster. The blue liner recorded 90 points over 65 regular-season appearances for WHL Portland last year and will attempt to carve out a role in the AHL early in the 2024-25 campaign. If his WHL success translates to his time with the Barracudas, he could return to the NHL at some point this season if the Sharks need additional depth.

Impact White registered five goals and five assists in 21 games for AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton during the 2023-24 regular season. However, he didn't record a point in 17 NHL regular-season outings with Montreal. He has an AHL-only deal with the Barracuda for the 2024-25 campaign.

Impact Dellandrea remains in competition for a depth role with the Sharks. Mario Ferraro - Lights lamp in win Ferraro scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Saturday's 6-5 preseason win over the Golden Knights.

Impact Ferraro tallied early in the third period, tying the game at 3-3. The 26-year-old defenseman could be the Sharks' top overall blueliner this year, but he has little fantasy upside given his career high in points is 21 from 78 games last season. He'll have extra value in formats that count hits and blocked shots -- he's produced at least 100 of each in three straight years -- but Ferraro is also likely to be heavily in the red for plus-minus rating since he'll play a lot of minutes on a poor team.

Luke Kunin - Pots pair of goals Kunin scored twice on three shots and went plus-3 in Saturday's 6-5 preseason win over the Golden Knights.

Impact Kunin scored twice over the final three minutes of the game, tying it at 5-5 before Ethan Cardwell netted the game-winner with 12 seconds to go. The 26-year-old Kunin saw 21:02 of ice time Saturday with the Sharks dressing a number of AHL-level players. It's expected his role will be smaller in the regular season -- Kunin averaged 15:44 per game while producing 18 points over 77 contests in 2023-24.

Danil Gushchin - Erupts for five assists Gushchin distributed five assists while adding three shots on goal and a plus-4 rating in Saturday's 6-5 preseason win over the Golden Knights.

Impact Gushchin had his hands all over the Sharks' frantic third-period comeback effort. After the game, head coach Ryan Warsofsky told reporters that Gushchin had a good camp, Max Miller of NHL.com reports. Gushchin's performance Saturday might be enough to earn the 22-year-old a spot on the Opening Night roster, and he may even begin the year in a top-six role given the Sharks' lack of proven NHL-level talent.

He will share the crease with Vitek Vanecek to begin 2024-25, though it remains to be seen if one goalie will work his way into a starting role.
