Thomas Bordeleau - Out week-to-week Bordeleau is week-to-week after suffering a lower-body injury, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports Tuesday.
Impact Bordeleau played in just 27 games for the Sharks last season in which he registered six goals and five assists, including seven power-play points. While the 22-year-old winger was productive when he was in the lineup, he struggled for a full-time role and had to spend most of the year in the minors. His lower-body injury will likely result in Bordeleau also playing the majority of his games this year with AHL San Jose, though he could still see some minutes at the NHL level once he gets back to 100 percent.

Yaroslav Askarov - Missing from Tuesday's skate Askarov (lower body) was not in attendance for Tuesday's game-day skate and will miss out versus Anaheim, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Impact Askarov came into training camp with high expectations but a lower-body injury has kept him from getting on the ice with his teammates. Set to compete for the starting job for Opening Night against St. Louis on Oct. 10, an extended absence could open the door for either Mackenzie Blackwood or Vitek Vanecek to step up. Still, unless Askarov is out long-term, he should eventually claim the No. 1 gig in San Jose.

Impact Vanecek earned a 17-9-3 record with a 3.18 GAA and an .890 save percentage in 32 regular-season outings for New Jersey in 2023-24. He didn't see any game action with the Sharks after being acquired via a trade in March because of a lower-body injury. Following his recovery in the offseason, he will compete with Mackenzie Blackwood and Yaroslav Askarov (lower body) for the No. 1 goalie role during training camp.

Impact Mukhamadullin won't play in Tuesday's exhibition contest against Anaheim, according to Max Miller of NHL.com. The 22-year-old Mukhamadullin has been recovering from a lower-body issue during training camp, and it's unclear when he will return to the ice. After he receives clearance to play, Mukhamadullin could head to the minors for the beginning of the 2024-25 campaign.

Marc-Edouard Vlasic - Won't face Ducks Vlasic (upper body) will be sidelined versus Anaheim on Tuesday, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Impact Vlasic managed just two points in the final 17 games of the 2024-25 campaign, finishing the year with 12 points in 57 outings. The veteran blueliner is far from a lock for the lineup on a nightly basis moving forward, especially given the younger players on the team looking for more opportunities. Even with a full 82-game campaign, Vlasic is unlikely to offer significantly more offensive production than he has in past seasons.
