Brandon Montour - Pots goal in win Montour scored a goal on three shots and added four PIM in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Flyers.
Impact Montour scored from distance in the first period. In the third, he receiving a double-minor for roughing during a scrum. It's not unusual for Montour to show some snarl -- he had 104 hits in the regular season last year, and he produced 107 PIM the year before that. Through five contests this season, he has three points, 19 shots on net, eight hits, three blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-3 rating while filling a top-four role to begin his Kraken career.

Impact While Wright has played well early in the year, he didn't have anything to show for it until Thursday. He helped out on an Eeli Tolvanen tally in the second period and then scored a goal of his own about three minutes later, which was the game-winner. Wright is centering Jared McCann and Jordan Eberle on what's emerged as the Kraken's top line, though the team's forwards often have varied ice time based on the flow of the game. Wright is at two points, six shots on net, three hits and a plus-4 rating over five appearances while averaging 14:16 of ice time per game.

Impact Eberle scored at 17:44 of the second period, and he set up a Shane Wright snipe just eight seconds later as the Kraken took control of the game. The 34-year-old Eberle is up to four goals, two assists, eight shots on net, four blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through five appearances. The line of Eberle, Wright and Jared McCann has been the Kraken's best early on, making Eberle a decent depth forward in fantasy formats that focus on point production.

Impact McCann's three points all came in the second period. He tied the game at 2-2 early in the frame before having a hand in goals by linemates Jordan Eberle and Shane Wright over a span of eight seconds late in the period. With three multi-point efforts through five contests, McCann is off to a great start. He has three goals, four assists, 11 shots on net, five blocked shots and a plus-5 rating while playing on Seattle's most effective line so far.

Impact Grubauer finally got some goal support, and he needed it. A four-goal explosion in the second period lifted the Kraken to the win, which was their first victory with Grubauer between the pipes this year. He's allowed nine goals on 73 shots over his three starts. So far, Seattle has alternated between Grubauer and Joey Daccord -- if that continues, Daccord is penciled in to start versus the Flames on Saturday, while Grubauer would get his former team, the Avalanche, on Tuesday.

Matty Beniers - Secures first assist of season Beniers notched an assist, four shots on goal and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Predators.
Impact The helper was Beniers' first point in four games this season. He led all Kraken forwards with 17:42 of ice time and continues to be an important two-way center, but that hasn't translated to stronger scoring numbers yet. It's not for a lack of opportunity -- he's recorded 12 shots on net and remains on the power play, so there are reasons to believe his luck will improve over time.

Impact Oleksiak and Brandon Montour have formed a strong second pairing for the Kraken early in the campaign. Tuesday's performance marked Oleksiak's first offensive contributions, but he's been as steady as ever with his physical play, adding 10 hits, nine blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over four contests. In deeper formats that reward the rough stuff, Oleksiak is an option as a depth defenseman, but his scoring ceiling is roughly 20 points.

Impact Tanev doesn't often get that many opportunities to shoot while playing on the fourth line.
