Sidney Crosby bats puck out of mid-air to score from behind the net

As soon as Sidney Crosby enters the attacking zone, there aren't a whole lot of spots where he's not capable of scoring from.

We were reminded of that on Thursday night when the Penguins captain scored a pretty wild goal from behind the Dallas Stars goal line. When Crosby's first attempt on net hit goaltender Antti Niemi's pad and  bounced up in the air, Crosby then swatted it out of mid-air for a second chance opportunity.

The follow-up try ended up bouncing off of Niemi's back and into the net, giving the Penguins a lead in the final seconds of the second period. It was a pretty spectacular display of turning a whole lot of nothing into something, and another reminder that it's pretty damn hard to stop Sidney Crosby, even when you do everything right as a goalie.
