FOX Sports Puts Full-Court Press on College Hoops Conference Tournaments

Full BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament Live on FOX and FS1 from Madison Square Garden for Fifth Straight Year

Pac-12 Tournament Champion to be Crowned on FS1

New York – March has begun, and FOX Sports gives viewers a front row seat to the madness with coverage of four college basketball conference tournaments. Highlighting the network’s schedule is the entire BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament, live from New York City’s Madison Square Garden, for the fifth consecutive year. The Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament and Women’s Basketball Tournaments for BIG EAST and Big 12 crown their champions on FS1.

The BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament tips off Wednesday, March 7, at 7:00 PM ET on FS1 with the championship game set for Saturday, March 10, at 6:30 PM ET on the FOX broadcast network. FOX Sports’ lead play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson, the most exciting voice in sports, calls BIG EAST Tournament first-round games, primetime quarterfinals, semifinals and the championship. Johnson teams with FS1 lead college basketball analyst Bill Raftery for the first-round and quarterfinal games, and works alongside FOX lead analyst Jim Jackson for the semifinals and final. Jackson also calls the afternoon quarterfinals alongside play-by-play announcer Justin Kutcher. Lisa Byington serves as sideline reporter for all nine games of the BIG EAST Tournament.

FOX Sports also brings its full studio presence to Madison Square Garden, anchored by host Rob Stone and analyst Donny Marshall, who are on site from Wednesday through Saturday. Jackson sits alongside the duo on Wednesday evening, while Nick Bahe is on site Thursday afternoon, and Len Elmore joins the set Thursday evening.

Out West, FS1 begins its coverage of the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, March 8, with the final quarterfinal of the evening at 11:30 PM ET. Play-by-play announcer Joe Davis and analyst Steve Lavin call the action, which also includes the second semifinal on Friday, March 9, at 11:30 PM ET and the championship game Saturday, March 10, at 10:00 PM ET on FS1. Host Kevin Burkhardt and analyst Casey Jacobsen provide studio coverage live from the court.

FS1, FS2 and the BIG EAST Digital Network, available to all fans on the FOX Sports GO and FOX Sports app, present full coverage of the entire BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Tournament, held Saturday, March 3 through Tuesday, March 6, at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. First-round games can be seen on the BIG EAST Digital Network, via FOX Sports GO, while quarterfinals are televised on FS2, and the semifinals and final are on FS1. Byington calls play-by-play for the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship alongside analyst LaChina Robinson, while Matt Shumaker reports from the sidelines during the quarterfinals, and John Fanta handles the role during the semifinals and final. Play-by-play announcer Dave Bernhard, analyst Patricia Babcock McGraw and sideline reporter Faith Woodard call first-round action.

The entire Big 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament, from Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena from Friday, March 2 through Monday, March 5, is televised across the FOX Sports family of networks. First-round games are available on FOX College Sports; quarterfinals are televised on FOX Sports Regional Networks; and the semifinals and championship game can be seen on FS1. Ron Thulin and Brenda VanLengen call the action, Missy Heidrick reports from the sidelines, and Tracy Warren serves as the tournament’s host.
