FOX Sports Lands First Exclusive Interview with Megastar Zlatan Ibrahimovic Since Joining LA Galaxy
LA Galaxy-LAFC Pregame Show Features Bob Bradley, Benny Feilhaber and Ashley Cole
FOX Sports, home of the 2018 MLS Cup, has landed the exclusive first interview with Swedish megastar and LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, following his official welcome to the LA Galaxy this morning. Sweden’s all-time leading scorer will join MLS legend and Sports Emmy nominee Alexi Lalas and lead studio host Rob Stone on Saturday, March 31 at StubHub Center in Los Angeles, Calif., prior to the first-ever meeting between the LA Galaxy and LAFC. Pregame coverage begins at 2:30 PM ET on FOX.
Saturday’s star-studded pregame coverage also features interviews with LAFC head coach Bob Bradley, LAFC midfielder Benny Feilhaber and LA Galaxy defender Ashley Cole. Once action begins on the field, John Strong calls the match alongside former Houston Dynamo star Stu Holden, with Katie Witham reporting from the sideline (3:00 PM ET). Mariano Trujillo, Rodolfo Landeros and John Laguna call the action in Spanish on FOX Deportes.
Earlier in the day, Bundesliga takes center stage, as Bayern Munich battles Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker at 12:25 PM ET on FOX. Robert Lewandowski and Bayern Munich can clinch a record 6th straight title by defeating Christian Pulisic’s Borussia Dortmund and if Schalke fails to win at home against Freiburg. FS1’s Schalke-Freiburg coverage begins at 9:00 AM ET. Kate Abdo hosts Bundesliga studio coverage alongside Warren Barton and Jovan Kirovski beginning at 9:00 AM ET on FS1 and 12:00 PM ET on FOX.
