FOX Sports studio analyst and former Mexican National Team goalkeeper Moises Munoz reacts to another Mexico loss in the Round of 16:

Munoz says Mexico played well in the first half, but couldn’t capitalize on scoring chances:
“Everything looked good for Mexico in the first half. They had really good plays and they showed a lot of danger in Brazil’s box, but they could not finish any play, and this is the difference between Mexico and Brazil.”
Lalas reacts to Juan Carlos Osorio’s criticism of the referees:
“I love JCO, but come on, man. You did not lose today because of the referees. The referees and FIFA are not against Mexico. They weren’t against Mexico this game. They got beaten by a better team.”
Munoz thinks Osorio’s time with the Mexican National Team has come to an end:
“The only probable way he could have stayed with Mexico is if he would have gotten them into the fifth game, at least.
“Not making that fifth game, he’s going to be out.”
Lalas says even though Osorio’s full tenure was successful, he didn’t achieve the team’s ultimate goal:
“If you’re fair, you say it was successful in totality. But he was brought in, just like every manager was brought in, to get them to that promised land. And, ultimately, he failed at doing that.”

Lalas responds to Mexico’s Andres Guardado discussing Neymar’s style of play:
“Hearing a Mexican National Team player whine about bad behavior is just a little rich, because you have Rafa Marquez on the field. He is basically the emperor of the dark arts.”
