FOX Sports’ NFL Wild Card Coverage Announced
Veteran Chris Myers Added to Game Coverage
NEW YORK – FOX Sports play-by-play announcer Joe Buck, analyst Troy Aikman, reporter Erin Andrews and rules analyst Mike Pereira lead FOX Sports’ NFL postseason coverage with exclusive broadcasts of NFC Wildcard, Divisional and Championship games. The lead team begins coverage on Saturday, Jan. 5 when the NFC East champion Dallas Cowboys host the Seattle Seahawks at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Host and play-by-play announcer Chris Myers joins the lead team, serving as an additional game reporter for the NFC Wild Card matchup.
Buck, a seven-time Emmy Award winner, and three-time Super Bowl champion Aikman have been part of FOX NFL’s lead broadcast team since 2002 and worked together as a two-man booth since 2005. The longest-tenured NFL broadcast duo is joined by Andrews, covering her sixth NFL postseason with the pair. Pereira, the former Vice President of NFL Officiating, who joined FOX Sports in 2010 will provide insight into rules or calls during the telecast.
Terry Bradshaw and Curt Menefee, along with analysts Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson, Michael Strahan and insider Jay Glazer, co-host FOX NFL SUNDAY, America’s No. 1 NFL pregame show. The pregame show airs from the FOX Network Center in Los Angeles prior to Saturday’s matchup.
FOX Deportes’ broadcast team for games includes host Rodolfo Landeros, Jessi Losada, Rolando Cantu and Jaime Motta. The FOX Deportes pregame show begins 30 minutes prior to kickoff of the Wildcard game between the Cowboys and Seahawks.
