FOX Sports College Hoops Tournament Coverage Tips Off This Week
BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament Televised on FOX and FS1 Live from Madison Square Garden
NEW YORK – The march to college basketball’s postseason has begun, and FOX Sports gets in on the madness with coverage of four conference tournaments beginning today. Highlighting the schedule, the entire BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament from New York City’s Madison Square Garden is once again live on FS1 and the FOX broadcast network. FOX Sports also televises the BIG EAST and Big 12 women’s basketball tournaments and one MAC men’s tournament semifinal.
The BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament tips off Wednesday, March 13, at 7:00 PM ET on FS1 and concludes with coverage of the championship game, beginning at 6:00 PM ET Saturday, March 16, on the FOX broadcast network. FOX Sports lead college hoops play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson brings his signature calls and unmatched enthusiasm to the first-round, primetime quarterfinals, semifinals and final. He teams with FS1 lead college basketball analyst Bill Raftery for first-round and evening quarterfinal games and works alongside FOX lead analyst Jim Jackson for the semifinals and championship. Jackson also calls the afternoon quarterfinals alongside play-by-play announcer Justin Kutcher. Lisa Byington reports during the first-round, primetime quarterfinals, semifinal and final, and Evan Daniels reports for the afternoon quarterfinal games.
The FOX COLLEGE HOOPS TIPOFF pregame show is back on the road for the BIG EAST Tournament, with host Rob Stone and analysts Steve Lavin and Donny Marshall live from Madison Square Garden for pregame, postgame and between-game coverage.
FS1, FS2 and the BIG EAST Digital Network, available to all fans on the FOX Sports app, present full coverage of the entire BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Tournament, held Saturday, March 9, through Tuesday, March 12, at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. First-round games can be seen on the BIG EAST Digital Network via the FOX Sports app, while quarterfinals are televised on FS2, and the semifinals and final are on FS1. Byington and analyst Sarah Kustok call the primetime quarterfinals, semifinals and championship with reports from Kimberly Adams and John Fanta. Fanta and Adams call the action for the first round and afternoon quarterfinals.
The entire Big 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament, from Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena from Friday, March 8, through Monday, March 11, is televised across the FOX Sports family of networks. First-round games are available on FOX College Sports; quarterfinals are televised on FOX Sports Regional Networks; and the semifinals and championship game can be seen on FS1. Ron Thulin, Brenda VanLengen and Stacey Dales call the action.
FOX College Sports televises the second semifinal of the MAC Men’s Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 15, at approximately 9:00 PM ET. Play-by-play announcer Mike Monaco and analyst Nick Bahe have the call live from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
