Cam Jordan Set to Make Guest Appearance on FOX Sports’ XFL Broadcast Saturday, March 7
Jordan Joins Curt Menefee and Joel Klatt for the New York Guardians-Dallas Renegades Game at 5:00 PM ET
New York – FOX Sports announces New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan as a guest reporter for the Week 5 XFL matchup between the New York Guardians and the Dallas Renegades on Saturday, March 7 on FOX. Curt Menefee and Joel Klatt call the game from Dallas beginning at 5:00 PM ET.
Jordan has held several television assignments, including the NFL Network’s broadcast of the Scouting Combine last Saturday, where he served as an analyst for the defensive lineman drills. Jordan has also appeared on the network’s New York set of “Good Morning Football.” In 2014, he served as a weekly guest analyst for local New Orleans NBC affiliate, WDSU.
Jordan was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the first round (24th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Cal. He spent nine seasons with the Saints and is known as the defensive leader of the team. The five-time Pro Bowl player has started 143 games for the Saints and recorded 451 tackles and 87 sacks in his career with the team.
Born in Minneapolis, Cam’s father, Steve Jordan, is a former Minnesota Vikings tight end. Cam Jordan attended high school in Chandler, Ariz., where he played football and ran track. He earned All-State honors his senior year after recording 85 tackles and 17.5 sacks.
