FOX NASCAR iRacing Sunday From Virtual Dover
Blake Shelton, David Hasselhoff and Jason Romano serve as prerace dignitaries for Sunday’s FOX NASCAR iRACING event from virtual Dover International Speedway via video from their respective homes.
Hasselhoff performs the national anthem Sunday, May 3, prior to the start of the eNASCAR iRACING Pro Invitational Series race (1:00 PM ET on FOX*, FS1 and the FOX Sports app). Fresh off a successful run on London’s West End starring in Dolly Parton’s hit show, 9 to 5: The Musical, and just prior to that, a multi-city concert tour throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Hasselhoff is an international superstar and triple platinum recording artist who remains a fixture in The Guinness Book of World Records as “The Most Watched Man on TV.”
Shelton, country music superstar and “The Voice” coach, gives the command to start engines. Shelton recently scored his 27th No. 1 single with “Nobody But You,” his duet with Gwen Stefani. A five-time CMA Male Vocalist of the Year winner, Shelton won Single of the Year for “God’s Country” at the CMA Awards in November 2019 and was nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for the single at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
Romano, Sports Spectrum podcast host, speaker and author, offers the invocation from his home prior to the start of the race. Also a former TV producer, Romano authored “Live to Forgive” and will release his second book, “The Uniform of Leadership,” in July.
