FOX SPORTS BRINGS FANS SIDE-BY-SIDE NATIONAL COVERAGE OF MLB’S FINAL REGULAR SEASON SATURDAY
Today, FOX Sports announced unprecedented, side-by-side national coverage of Major League Baseball’s final regular season Saturday with two compelling games side-by-side on the FOX broadcast network and FOX Sports 1.
At 1:00 PM ET on Saturday, Sept. 27, FOX Sports gives fans across the country the chance to see Yankees’ captain Derek Jeter take the field one more time in a nationally televised game on FOX when the Bronx Bombers take on the Red Sox at Fenway Park. Next Saturday’s game expects to be Jeter’s 302nd game played against the Red Sox and his 153rd game played at Fenway Park, including the postseason.
At the same time, FOX Sports 1 offers more national coverage of MLB’s last regular season weekend when the Pittsburgh Pirates take on the Cincinnati Reds. The Pirates hope to maintain their lead for the National League’s second Wild Card spot and clinch a playoff berth.
Coverage begins at 12:30 PM ET with the FOX MLB Pregame Show with Ryan Field, Eric Karros and Frank Thomas on FOX.
This Saturday, Sept. 20, FOX Sports offers regionalized coverage at 1:00 PM ET of the Tigers and Royals at Kauffman Stadium as both teams jockey for a Division and Wild Card playoff spot and the Dodgers travel to the Windy City to take on the Cubs and close the door on their second straight National League West Division crown.
