52 Match Tournament on FS2 and FOX Soccer Plus Showcases Soccer’s Brightest Talents Starting May 20 with U.S. U-20 Men’s Youth National Team vs. Ecuador
LOS ANGELES – FOX Sports, America’s English-language home for the world’s top international soccer tournaments, today presents its broadcast schedule for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Argentina 2023™. From Saturday, May 20, to Sunday, June 11, 24 nations will compete in the thrilling 52 match tournament with matches airing live on FS2 and FOX Soccer Plus.
The biennial competition returns to action with the brightest talents in soccer preparing to battle in host nation Argentina for FIFA U-20 World Cup™ glory. The United States U-20 Men’s Youth National Team (MYNT) open play vs. Ecuador on the first day of the tournament, Saturday, May 20, at 1:50 PM ET on FOX Soccer Plus. The U.S. U-20 MYNT face Fiji on Tuesday, May 23, at 1:50 PM ET on FS2, and close out the group stage vs. Slovakia on Friday, May 26, at 1:50 PM ET on FS2.
The FIFA U-20 World Cup™ will take place across four Argentinian cities: La Plata, Mendoza, San Juan and Santiago del Estero. Eleven countries have been crowned FIFA U-20 World Cup™ champions since the competition’s inception, including Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, Serbia, Ghana, Spain, Russia, Germany, England, France and Ukraine.
