FOX Sports Takes the Field for Milestone 30th Season of FOX NFL Coverage

NEW YORK – On the heels of scoring the most-watched Super Bowl on record, FOX Sports takes the field in September for its celebrated 30th season of NFL coverage with a returning cast of iconic on-air personalities and NFL legends who helped establish the network as a sports giant in its first year, and others who have since joined and raised the bar on FOX NFL’s unrivaled, marquee television coverage.
The 2023 FOX NFL broadcast team announcement was made today by Brad Zager, President, Production & Operations/Executive Producer, FOX Sports.
Award-Winning Studio Coverage
FOX NFL SUNDAY, the most-watched NFL studio pregame show for 29 consecutive seasons, is hosted by Curt Menefee with four-time Super Bowl champion Terry Bradshaw at 12:00 PM ET before each day’s game coverage. Analysts and Pro Football Hall of Famers Howie Long, Michael Strahan and Jimmy Johnson flank the only NFL pregame show desk comprised entirely of Hall of Famers. Bradshaw, Long and Johnson are original members from the inaugural 1994 season. FOX NFL insider Jay Glazer rounds out the FOX NFL SUNDAY crew with exclusive insights and breaking news from around the league. Additionally, four-time Super Bowl champion and four-time All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski again appears on the show throughout the year.
FOX NFL SUNDAY was honored as the winner of the 2022 Sports Emmy for “Outstanding Studio Show – Weekly” and “The George Wensel Technical Achievement Award.” The entire cast is immortalized in the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame – the only sports show to hold this honor.
FOX NFL KICKOFF, airing Sundays at 11:00 AM ET, welcomes three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman as its newest analyst this season. Edelman joins host Charissa Thompson alongside Pro Football Hall of Famer Charles Woodson, four-time Pro Bowler Michael Vick, NFL insider/reporter Peter Schrager and longtime sports media personality Colin Cowherd. “The Manning Hour” segments with Cooper Manning also air throughout the season.
Critically Acclaimed Game Coverage
Entering their second season together, and fresh off calling the record-setting Super Bowl LVII, the critically acclaimed duo of play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt and analyst Greg Olsen, three-time Pro Bowl tight end and 2022 Sports Emmy Award winner for “Outstanding Personality – Emerging On-Air Talent,” calls FOX’s top regular and postseason games. Erin Andrews, the first woman singularly honored with the Pat Summerall Award, and Tom Rinaldi, a 17-time Sports Emmy Award winner, join them from the sidelines. Rules analyst Mike Pereira, former NFL Vice President of Officiating, offers his trademark takes on the most pivotal officiating calls of the week. The team makes its 2023 debut in FOX’s preseason coverage of the Houston Texans at New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Aug. 27, at 8:00 PM ET on FOX. FOX NFL SUNDAY co-host Curt Menefee and Saints legend Mark Ingram are also on-site with additional analysis.
Burkhardt, Olsen, Andrews, Rinaldi and Pereira open Week 1 with FOX’s first edition of AMERICA’S GAME OF THE WEEK, the No. 1 show in all of television for 14 consecutive years and the most-watched NFL window the last 22 seasons, as the Chicago Bears host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Sept. 10, at 4:25 PM ET.
Davis | Johnston | Oliver
Joe Davis, also the voice of FOX MLB, calls his second full season of NFL games alongside three-time Super Bowl champion and two-time Pro Bowler, Daryl “Moose” Johnston, in his 23rd season with the network. Johnston also serves as the USFL President of Football Operations. Pam Oliver, the longest-tenured NFL television reporter, returns for her 29th season to handle reporting duties for the team. They open Week 1 1:00 PM ET with the San Francisco 49ers at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Amin | Schlereth | Pink
Multi-sport play-by-play announcer Adam Amin, in his fourth season with FOX, again pairs with three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth in the booth. Kristina Pink, in her 11th year with FOX, joins the duo with reporting duties. In Week 1, the crew calls the 1:00 PM ET Arizona Cardinals at Washington Commanders matchup.
Albert | Vilma | Spake
Kenny Albert, one of the original FOX NFL broadcasters with the network since 1994 and the longest-tenured FOX NFL game announcer, celebrates his 30th season. He works with Super Bowl champion and Pro Bowl linebacker Jonathan Vilma for the fourth year. Veteran broadcaster and FOX NASCAR host Shannon Spake handles reporting duties. The trio kicks off their season in Week 1 with the Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts at 1:00 PM ET.
Kugler | Sanchez | Okmin
Kevin Kugler returns for his fourth season handling play-by-play duties, again teaming with former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez, who led the New York Jets to consecutive AFC Championship Games in his first two pro seasons, in his third year as a game analyst. Laura Okmin, the third longest-tenured NFL television reporter, reports from the sidelines. The crew is on the call in Week 1 for the LA Rams at Seattle Seahawks at 4:25 PM ET.
Myers | Smith | Hale
In his 23rd season of FOX NFL coverage, veteran play-by-play caller Chris Myers again pairs with veteran FOX college football analyst Robert Smith, working his second full season as an NFL analyst. Multi-sport veteran reporter and studio host Jen Hale joins the crew with reporting duties. The announce team will be in Atlanta in Week 1 as the Atlanta Falcons host the Carolina Panthers at 1:00 PM ET.
Finally, FOX NFL rules analyst and former NFL Vice President of Officiating Dean Blandino joins the various broadcast crews throughout the year with his perspective on the most crucial game calls.
FOX Deportes
FOX Deportes’ NFL coverage features some of Spanish-language sports television’s most recognizable voices. The talent lineup consists of host Rodolfo Landeros, renowned play-by-play announcer Adrian Garcia-Marquez and analyst and Academy Award-winner Jessi Losada. Jaime Motta also joins as analyst/reporter throughout the season.
