UEFA EURO 2024™ Qualifying Matches Reach Penultimate Rounds Across FOX Sports and Fubo
LOS ANGELES – FOX Sports, America’s new home for UEFA EURO 2024™, and FuboTV Inc., the leading sports-first live TV streaming platform, today present coverage plans and broadcast schedules for the penultimate rounds of European Qualifiers.
From Wednesday, Oct. 11, to Tuesday, Oct. 17, FOX Sports will air 21 qualifying matches and five friendly matches across FS1, FS2 and FOX Soccer Plus as part of the seventh and eighth window of matchdays. During this window, an additional 24 qualifying matches and four friendly matches will stream exclusively on Fubo’s 24/7 sports network, Fubo Sports, as part of Fubo’s subscription packages featuring 175+ leading sports, news and entertainment channels.
The European Qualifiers feature 53 participating national teams from across the continent, including France, England, Croatia, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, Germany and more marquee UEFA member national teams, competing to secure one of 20 coveted spots in next summer’s prestigious tournament for the European crown.
EUROPEAN QUALIFIERS HIGHLIGHTS
- England and reigning UEFA Euro Champion Italy clash on FS1 on Tuesday, Oct. 17. Fans of the Three Lions and Azzurri can tune in for live coverage starting at 2:30 PM ET.
- Coverage on Fubo will begin with Spain vs. Scotland on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 2:45 PM ET, followed by Ireland vs. Greece and Austria vs. Belgium competing simultaneously on Friday, Oct. 13, at 2:45 PM ET.
- On Friday, Oct. 13, France and Netherlands battle on FS1 in a clash of top-flight European titans. Live coverage commences at 2:30 PM ET.
- On Fubo, Belgium takes on Sweden on Monday, Oct. 16 at 2:45 PM ET to round out the competition on the day.
FOX SOCCER BROADCASTERS
Play-by-play announcer John Strong and match analyst Stu Holden serve as FOX Sports’ lead announce team for the high-profile match between England and Italy on FS1. Veteran host Rob Stone anchors coverage for the match alongside lead studio analyst and National Soccer Hall of Famer Alexi Lalas and former England defender Warren Barton. The France vs. Netherlands match on FS1 features play-by-play announcer Keith Costigan alongside Barton on the call.
