Broadcast Team Set for Saturday’s FOX UFC FIGHT NIGHT JOHNSON VS. BADER
UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (@DC_MMA) and retired UFC middleweight Brian Stann (@BrianStann) work as analysts alongside FOX Sports host Curt Menefee (@CurtMenefee) for FOX UFC FIGHT NIGHT: JOHNSON VS. BADER live on FOX and FOX Deportes on Saturday, Jan. 30 (8:00 PM ET). Mike Goldberg (@MFG_17) and Joe Rogan (@JoeRogan) call the fights on FOX live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey while Victor Davila and Erik Perez make the call in Spanish on FOX Deportes.
The two-hour main card is headlined by an exciting five-round light heavyweight showdown between No. 2-ranked Anthony Johnson (20-5) and No. 4 Ryan Bader (21-4). Heavyweight contenders No. 8 Josh Barnett (34-7) and No. 7 Ben Rothwell (35-9) battle, while No. 14 Iuri Alcantara (32-6, 1NC) and Jimmie Rivera (18-1) face off in a bantamweight bout. Undefeated Sage Northcutt (7-0) faces Bryan Barberena (10-2) in a welterweight matchup to open the main card.
The three-hour FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT PRELIMS on FS1 and FOX Deportes begin at 5:00 PM ET and feature six bouts. The No. 11 ranked welterweight Tarec Saffiedine (15-4) faces Jake Ellenberger (30-10), while Olivier Aubin-Mercier (8-1) battles Diego Ferreira (11-2) in a lightweight bout. No. 15 middleweight Rafael Natal (20-6-1) takes on Kevin Casey (9-3, 2NC). No. 9 featherweight Dustin Ortiz (15-4) faces No. 12 Wilson Reis (19-6). Welterweights George Sullivan (17-4, 1NC) and Alexander Yakovlev (22-6-1) square off, while Alex Caceres (10-8, 1NC) and Masio Fullen (10-5) kick off the PRELIMS with a bantamweight bout.
Saturday’s coverage begins on FS1 (4:00 PM ET) with the FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT PREFIGHT SHOW hosted by Jon Anik (@Jon_Anik), with Cormier and Stann providing analysis.
