Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester United Featured in FOX Sports’ UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League or FA Cup Semifinal Coverage
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Manchester United are among the world’s top soccer teams featured on FOX Sports and FOX Deportes platforms beginning this weekend, as the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and FA Cup, the preeminent competitions in club soccer, near their thrilling climaxes with semifinal round action.
FOX Sports’ soccer coverage begins with first-leg semifinal matches in the FA Cup Saturday, April 23 and continues with the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League from Tuesday, April 26 to Thursday, April 28. Games are available across FS1, FS2 or FOX Soccer Plus and FOX Deportes, and stream live on FOX Soccer 2Go, FOX Sports GO and FOXSportsGO.com. The second and final legs of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League semifinals resume the following week, Tuesday, May 3 to Thursday, May 5.
Host Rob Stone teams up with Warren Barton for FA Cup coverage over the weekend, with the duo returning to the studio for UEFA Champions League coverage alongside Eric Wynalda, Alexi Lalas and Thomas Hitzlsperger. On the Spanish-language side, John Laguna joins Christian Bozzo to call the FA Cup action this weekend then reunites with Mariano Trujillo and Ariel Torrone for FOX Deportes’ UEFA Champions League coverage. Fernando Fiore, Alvaro Izquierdo and Bruno Marioni will serve as sideline reporters for the matches. UEFA Europa League coverage features host Ian Joy with analysts Barton and Stu Holden.
