FOX Sports and Under Armour Team Up for Inaugural Under Armour Reunion Basketball Doubleheader at Madison Square Garden
New York – FOX Sports and Under Armour (NYSE: UA, UA.C), two of the biggest names in athletics, have teamed up to present a new, premier college basketball doubleheader at Madison Square Garden. The inaugural Under Armour Reunion features four members of the Under Armour collegiate roster – Auburn vs. Boston College and Seton Hall vs. South Carolina – and will take place on Monday, Dec. 12, on FS1.
“We are thrilled to work with Under Armour to present the inaugural Under Armour Reunion basketball doubleheader,” said Larry Jones, FOX Sports Executive Vice President, Business. “Under Armour is one of the most exciting brands in sports, and we look forward to teaming up with them to add these games, featuring four top-tier programs, to our already exceptional college basketball schedule.”
“FOX Sports and Under Armour have the shared vision of amplifying and supporting collegiate athletics and we look forward to showcasing these great basketball match-ups at the historic Madison Square Garden this December,” said Nick Carparelli, Senior Director, Collegiate Sports, Under Armour.
The action tips off at 6:30 PM ET as Auburn, playing in the program’s first-ever game at Madison Square Garden, faces Boston College, a program once deeply familiar with the arena as a former and founding member of the BIG EAST Conference. Then at 9:00 PM ET, Seton Hall, the reigning BIG EAST Champion, which won the conference tournament in its most recent game at the Garden, takes on South Carolina.
FOX Sports televises some of the best college basketball in the country once again this season, featuring BIG EAST men’s and women’s, Pac-12 men’s and Big 12 women’s games, as well as several early season tournaments, including the Under Armour Reunion, the Gavitt Tipoff Games between the BIG EAST and Big Ten conferences, Pearl Harbor Invitational, Las Vegas Invitational, Las Vegas Classic and Orange Bowl Basketball Classic.
