Former National League Rookie of the Year (1992), Eric Karros is a game and studio analyst for FOX Sports.

Karros retired following the 2004 baseball season after a successful 14-year career in the big leagues. Selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the sixth round of the 1988 Major League Baseball draft, Karros made his debut as a pinch runner on September 1, 1991 against the Chicago Cubs. As a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers for a majority of his career, Karros also played for the Chicago Cubs and Oakland Athletics. Karros finished his career with a .268 batting average, 284 home runs and 1724 hits.

In addition to his NL Rookie of the Year honors in 1992, Karros earned a Silver Slugger award at First Base in 1995 and finished 5th in NL MVP voting that same year.

Born in Hackensack, NJ, Karros attended Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, Calif. Karros attended UCLA, where he played on the Bruins baseball team and in 1993, received a degree in Economics.
