Bio

Decorated play-by-play announcer Keith Costigan has been a staple on FOX Sports’ soccer coverage for over 18 years calling matches across Major League Soccer, Concacaf Champions League, Gold Cup, Liga MX, UEFA Euros and more.

In 2016, he was tabbed as the Seattle Sounders lead play-by-play voice for the team’s regional broadcasts, an opportunity that saw Costigan shine in winning two Emmy Awards for his dynamic calls.

A native of Dublin, Ireland, Costigan spent two years playing professionally with the then USL Portland Timbers and an additional stint with the Harrisburg City Islanders. During his two years with the Timbers, he led the team in assists during the 2001 season and led the squad in minutes played the following year from his left-back position. In addition to his work as a broadcaster and player, Costigan has coached club soccer for more than 12 years, including time spent with the Bakersfield Gunners and the Pacific Coast Soccer Club in Santa Monica. In 2019, he served as the Head Coach for Cal FC, an amateur club in the UPSL Premier Division.
