Kevin Kugler is a play-by-play announcer for FOX Sports’ NFL broadcasts, a role he assumed in the 2020 season. In 2024, Kugler will handle play-by-play duties for the inaugural season of the United Football League (UFL). Kugler also serves as a broadcaster select college basketball and MLB telecasts.

In addition to his FOX Sports duties, Kugler is a play-by-play announcer for Westwood One’s national coverage of the NFL, which previously included weekly Sunday Night Football matchups from 2013-2019. Kugler also currently serves as the national radio voice for the NCAA Tournament and the NCAA Men’s Final Four – a role that dates back to 2008. Outside of the NFL and collegiate basketball, he has covered five Olympics for Westwood One.

Prior to assuming his fulltime FOX NFL role, Kugler was a mainstay at the Big Ten Network where he called the conference’s football, basketball and baseball coverage.

The nine-time Nebraska Sportscaster of the Year is a graduate of the University of Nebraska.

Married to Michelle, Kugler currently resides in the Cornhusker state with their two daughters, Mackenzi and Cassidy.
