Mark Clattenburg has enjoyed a successful career as a referee on the international stage since working his first match 24 years ago. He refereed more than 450 Premier League matches over the course of 13 seasons and in 2016, the UEFA Champions League Final and UEFA European Championship Final.
UEFA EURO 2024™ will be his first EURO tournament as a rules analyst. Clattenburg served as rules analyst for the FIFA World Women’s Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™, his third World Cup as a rules analyst after joining FOX Sports for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and contributing to ITV’s coverage in 2018. He’s also served as a rules analyst on FOX Sports’ celebrated UEFA coverage. In 2017, Clattenburg left his position as a Premier League referee for a role with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation as the country’s Head of Refereeing. In 2019, he returned to full-time refereeing when he moved to the Chinese Super League.
