Home Team Sports Names Bill Robinson Vice President of Partnership Development
Home Team Sports, the FOX-owned sales entity that represents every regional sports network in the country, has named Bill Robinson Vice President, Partnership Development. Robinson will be based in New York and will report to Craig Sloan, Senior Vice President, Home Team Sports.
In this role, Robinson will be responsible for partnership development throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. He will also oversee prospecting and strategic direction for MLB advertising opportunities at Home Team Sports.
“Bill is a successful media executive with 17 years of diversified experience in national cable and broadcast television, and we’re thrilled to have him join Home Team Sports,” said Sloan. “Bill will be responsible for helping brands understand how to best connect with passionate and loyal home team sports fans across the country.”
Robinson joins Home Team Sports from Screenvision where he was focused on cultivating the network’s largest accounts at the planning and client level, including AT&T, LG, American Express, and Mars PetCare.
Prior to that, Robinson spent six years at NBC Sports where he sold some of the largest events in all of cable and network television, including the Summer and Winter Olympics, the Super Bowl, and Sunday Night Football.
Earlier in his career, Robinson worked at Viacom where he supervised many of MTV’s largest accounts, including Coca-Cola, Sony Pictures, and Johnson & Johnson.
