UFC FIGHT NIGHT Propels FOX Sports 1 to #1 Ad-Supported Net in Prime Time Sunday Night
FOX Sports 1 was the No. 1 ad-supported cable sports network and No. 6 network overall on ad-supported cable in prime time on Sunday night, according to Nielsen, driven by an epic UFC FIGHT NIGHT that saw an improbable nine of 10 underdogs prevail.
The UFC FIGHT NIGHT: BIGFOOT VS. MIR main card scored 1,212,000 viewers, making it the fifth most-watched UFC FIGHT NIGHT on FOX Sports 1 to-date, averaging +35% higher than UFC Fight Night’s to-date average on the network (900,000). Among the A18-49 demo, the main card was up +29% over UFC FIGHT NIGHT’s to-date average (726,000 vs. 561,000). The UFC FIGHT NIGHT main card peaked with 1,392,000 total viewers from 8:45 PM ET – 9:00 PM ET.
The UFC FIGHT NIGHT PRELIMS averaged 813,000 viewers and 442,000 in the A18-49 demo from 6:00 PM ET – 8:00 PM ET, a +51% increase in viewership (vs. 537,000) and a +40% jump in A18-49 (315,000) compared to the performance of FOX Sports 1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT PRELIM cards to-date.
