USGA on FOX Rolls Into Lancaster for 2015 U.S. Women’s Open Championship
The 70th U.S. Women’s Open Championship commences Thursday, July 9 at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pa. with an unprecedented broadcast commitment from FOX Sports. Featuring 18 hours of live coverage across four days, FOX Sports presents an unparalleled look at our nation’s premiere women’s major championship.
Coverage begins Thursday and Friday, July 9 and 10 on FOX Sports 1 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM ET. Weekend rounds on Saturday and Sunday, July 11 and 12, are televised exclusively on local FOX stations from 2:30 to 6:30 PM ET. In the event of a tie at the conclusion of Sunday’s final round, an immediate playoff ensues and live coverage continues until a winner is decided.
Calling their third USGA major championship in the last month, seven-time Emmy Award-winner Joe Buck and World Golf Hall of Famer Greg Norman serve as the lead broadcast team for the U.S. Women’s Open Championship from the 18th Tower and are joined by two-time U.S. Women’s Open champion Juli Inkster throughout the week. Analysts Brad Faxon and Steve Flesch and on-course reporters Jay Delsing and Scott McCarron also contribute to coverage, while Shane O’Donoghue conducts post-round interviews. Holly Sonders hosts on-site studio coverage alongside Faxon and Inkster, including Wednesday’s U.S. WOMEN’S OPEN PREVIEW SHOW (7:00 PM ET, FOX Sports 1) and a pair of half-hour U.S. WOMEN’S OPEN WRAP-UP shows on FOX Sports 1 following Saturday and Sunday’s rounds (6:30 PM ET, FOX Sports 1).

The USGA and FOX Sports team up to stream 32 hours of live coverage across their respective digital platforms. FOX Sports GO live-streams all U.S. Women’s Open coverage provided by FOX Sports 1 and local FOX stations. Beginning at 10:00 AM ET on Thursday and Friday, USGA.org streams early first-round coverage of the championship, while at 1:45 PM ET two additional streams following featured groups air on FOX Sports GO and USGA.org. Hyo Joo Kim, Brittany Lincicome and Inbee Park are featured on Thursday, while Lydia Ko, Stacy Lewis, and So Yeon Ryu are featured on Friday.
