FS1 Televises MLS Conference Semifinals Doubleheader in Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs This Sunday
The Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs roll on with more goals and drama this week as the Conference Semifinals kick off, and FS1 televises a doubleheader with thrilling encounters from each coast this Sunday, Nov. 1.
In the first matchup of the night at 7:00 PM ET, Columbus Crew SC travels to Montreal to face Didier Drogba and company for the first leg of the East Semifinal series. JP Dellacamera calls the match at Olympic Park’s Saputo Stadium alongside Brad Friedel and reporter Brian Dunseth.
In the Western Conference, top-seeded FC Dallas visits Clint Dempsey and Seattle on Sunday at 9:30 PM ET when the two teams open their semifinal series, one year after the Sounders snuck by FCD at the same stage. Lead MLS play-by-play announcer John Strong is live from a sure-to-be raucous CenturyLink field with analyst Alexi Lalas and reporter Julie Stewart-Binks.
Rob Stone hosts FS1’s Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs pregame, halftime and postgame coverage live from the FOX Network Center in Los Angeles with U.S. Soccer Hall of Famers Eric Wynalda, who scored the first-ever MLS goal 20 seasons ago, and Brian McBride, one of the best players in Columbus Crew club history, scoring 62 goals before his move to England. Guest analyst and U.S. Soccer legend Landon Donovan, who won the MLS Cup with the LA Galaxy last year and the only player to win six career MLS Cups, also joins in studio.
On the Spanish-language side, the action streams live on FOX Sports GO. FOX Deportes play-by-play announcer John Laguna is joined by Alvaro Izquierdo for the Columbus Crew SC-Montreal Impact match, while Troy Santiago takes on play-by-play duties alongside former MLS player Claudio Suarez for FC Dallas-Seattle Sounders. The news magazine show FOX DEPORTES EN VIVO and the network’s flagship news program CENTRAL FOX provide extended coverage, up-to-the-minute news and special interviews throughout its various editions.
All matches on FS1 on FOX Deportes are available via FOX Sports GO and FOX Soccer 2Go, and online through FOXSportsGO.com.
