Emmy-Nominated GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN Returns to FS1 Tonight
FS1’s Emmy-nominated original program GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN returns to television for its third season Wednesday, May 4, at Midnight ET.
GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN continues to tackle the biggest sports stories of the week, presented by Katie as only she can with her biting wit and fearless opinions. Fans can also expect more off-the-wall guest interviews and comedy bits, including in the season’s premiere episode when Katie finds the perfect retirement gift for David Ortiz and plays Jenga with U.S. Women’s National Team star Carli Lloyd, plus a few special surprises.
“We are very excited for the return of GARBAGE TIME and are incredibly proud of the show’s Emmy nominations,” said Charlie Dixon, Executive Vice President of Content for FS1 and FS2. “It’s been a pleasure to watch Katie and the show grow and develop, and we expect more great things in Season 3.”
GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN, which airs Wednesday nights at Midnight ET on FS1, premiered March 15, 2015, and has attracted significant audiences on television and online, reaching an all-time high for average audience with 473,000 viewers for the Oct. 14, 2016 episode. Online, clips from Season 2 were viewed well over 5 million times, and the GARBAGE TIME PODCAST, which debuted in October 2015, has ranked as high as No. 2 in the Sports & Recreation category and No. 9 overall on iTunes. In March 2016, GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN was nominated for a pair of Sports Emmy Awards, in the categories of Outstanding Studio Show – Weekly and Outstanding Social TV Experience.
Nolan joined FOX Sports in August 2013 as a cast member on FS1’s CROWD GOES WILD.
