FOX Sports Launches New Facebook Live Soccer Show “The Rec League”
FOX Sports debuts “The Rec League,” a new Facebook Live soccer show on the FOX Soccer Facebook page hosted by former U.S. Men’s National Team player Stu Holden and @TheBuzzer’s Rachel Bonnetta, on Monday, Oct. 17 at 2:00 PM ET. The weekly show is tailored for a digital audience and features player interviews, highlights, soccer news and skits. The announcement was made today by Matt Schnider, Vice President, Digital Productions, FOX Sports.
“We are excited to partner with Facebook and bring our loyal FOX Soccer audience a new digital show that delivers a fresh perspective,” said Schnider. "Bonnetta and Holden are a dynamic and entertaining pair, and we look forward to ‘The Rec League’ becoming a go-to destination for soccer fans.”
Holden joined FOX Sports exclusively in 2016 as a soccer analyst for the company’s elite portfolio of soccer properties. Bonnetta became host of the daily digital video program “Soccer@TheBuzzer” in 2016.
