U.S. Men’s National Team Roster to be Revealed Sunday Exclusively on FOX Soccer’s Facebook Live Show
In conjunction with a FOX Sports doubleheader featuring the Audi 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs on Sunday, Nov. 6, the 23-man U.S. Men’s National Team roster for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mexico will be revealed LIVE exclusively on FOX Soccer’s Facebook page at 5:10 PM ET. FOX Sports host Rob Stone, who will be on-site at New York’s Yankee Stadium for the evening’s MLS Conference semifinals, hosts FOX Sports’ announcement of the USMNT on FOX Soccer’s Facebook page.
Following the USMNT roster announcement, FOX Sports, home of the 2016 MLS Cup, offers live doubleheader coverage from New York and Dallas on Sunday, beginning at 6:30 PM ET on FS1 and FOX Deportes.
FS1 coverage begins at 6:30 PM ET with the second leg of the two-game Eastern Conference semifinals as No. 2 seed New York City FC hosts No. 3 seed Toronto FC. Immediately following on FS1, streaking No. 4 seed Seattle Sounders visits top-seeded FC Dallas for the second leg of the two-game Western Conference semifinals.
Stone hosts FOX Sports studio coverage for both matches from a field-level set at Yankee Stadium alongside MLS legend Alexi Lalas. John Strong joins Lalas to call the first match live from New York with Julie Stewart-Binks reporting from the sideline. JP Dellacamera and Stu Holden call the late match from Toyota Stadium in Dallas with sideline reporter Kyndra de St. Aubin.
Both semifinal matches are available via FOX Sports GO, FOX Soccer 2Go mobile apps and on desktop computers via FOXSportsGO.com. FS1 also offers the matches in Spanish on FOX Deportes.
The 2016 MLS Cup is FOX Sports’ first presentation of the championship event, set to air on the FOX broadcast network in primetime on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 PM ET. This marks the first time since 2008 that the MLS Cup airs live on English-language network television.
