THE HERD WITH COLIN COWHERD
Colin Cowherd leans on experience and selects New England over Atlanta:
“Atlanta’s defense was better later because they played crappy quarterbacks. It’s a close game. I’ll take the under. New England will force Atlanta to kick field goals more than score touchdowns. The line is free. I’ll take New England 31, Atlanta 27. I’ll take experience, balance and history of achievement in the brightest glare.”
.@ColinCowherd: I'll take experience, balance and a history of achievement. I'm picking New England 31, Atlanta 27.

David Carr thinks the Patriot offense has a leg up in the red zone:
“The key here is going to be the red zone. The Patriots have had 17 years in the same system. This guy [Belichick] has literally 1,000 plays at his disposal at the line of scrimmage. I know Bill’s system. I know what they do up there with Josh McDaniels. He has the entire playbook at his disposal, and they’re only going to say they have 100 plays, which is absolute garbage. They have everything. The Patriots can go to the sideline and change in a heartbeat. Atlanta doesn’t have that. You know off the bus what Atlanta’s going to do.”

GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN
Greg Jennings explains why the Patriots are the most hated team in the NFL:
“When you look at what Tom and the New England Patriots franchise has been able to do, they’re probably hated by every team in the league other than the New York Giants. That’s the only team that seems to be able to beat them in this game. It’s because they win. We [fans and players] want to see other teams win. We are kind of envious because we all want it to be someone different. We all want it to be us and our own team. And when it’s not our team, it’s not fun.”
