Once the action begins on the field, lead soccer play-by-play announcer John Strong calls the match alongside former Columbus Crew goalie Brad Friedel, with Katie Witham reporting from the sideline. Accomplished multilingual journalist and two-time Ballon D’Or host Kate Abdo serves as special correspondent covering Real Madrid.
FOX Soccer’s Facebook Live show “The Rec League,” hosted by Holden and Rachel Bonnetta, kicks off MLS All-Star Game coverage with a 30-minute preview show on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 10:30 AM ET live from Soldier Field. On match day, digital coverage for the league’s 22nd All-Star Game begins at 8:00 PM ET with a special MLS edition of “FOX Soccer Live” hosted by Bonnetta.
