USA’s Gold Cup Win Over Jamaica Scores on FS1
Championship Match Delivers Record Digital Numbers
LOS ANGELES, CA – The U.S. Men’s National Team’s thrilling 2-1 victory over Jamaica in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final on Wednesday (7/26) drew 1,772,000 viewers to FS1, up +117% over the 2015 championship match. The contest was Wednesday’s most-watched cable telecast in the Adults 18-49 demographic.
The victory also drew huge numbers on digital, with an average minute audience of 71,742 tuning in on FOX Sports GO, the largest audience ever on the platform for a soccer event.
FOX Sports’ extensive soccer coverage continues next week with the 2017 MLS All-Star Game, as U.S. MNT stars Tim Howard and Michael Bradley lead the MLS All-Stars against Real Madrid. Coverage begins Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 8:30 PM ET on FS1 live from Soldier Field in Chicago.
