FOX Sports Marks 365-Day Countdown to 2019 Women’s FIFA World Cup™
LOS ANGELES – The road to France goes through Sandy, Utah, as FOX Sports begins its journey to the 2019 Women’s FIFA World Cup™ today with an international friendly featuring reigning World Cup champion USA vs. China PR. Coverage begins at 9:00 PM ET on FS1.
The 2019 Women’s World Cup airs across the FOX Sports family of networks June 7 – July 7, 2019. In celebration of the 365 days countdown, FOX Sports presents special halftime-show coverage dedicated to next summer’s tournament with host Katie Witham and former U.S. Women’s National Team midfielder Leslie Osborne. Additional show highlights include Ettie, the 2019 Women’s World Cup mascot appearing from Red Square in Moscow, the Road to France countdown clock and special on-screen graphics.
