FOX Sports Sets Broadcaster Assignments for 2018 FIFA World Cup™ Quarterfinals
NEW YORK & MOSCOW – With only eight teams remaining in the 2018 FIFA World Cup™, FOX Sports today named its broadcast teams for Friday and Saturday Quarterfinal matches.
JP Dellacamera and Tony Meola call the first Quarterfinal match of the day, Friday, July 6, with Jenny Taft reporting from the sideline for Uruguay-France at 10:00 AM ET on FS1. In Friday’s second match of the day, lead play-by-play announcer John Strong and lead analyst Stu Holden team with pitch reporter Rodolfo Landeros to work the Brazil-Belgium matchup at 2:00 PM ET on FS1.
On Saturday, July 7, Derek Rae and Aly Wagner call England-Sweden at 10:00 AM ET on FOX, with Geoff Shreeves reporting from the sideline. In the final Quarterfinal match, Strong and Holden call Russia-Croatia at 2:00 PM ET on FOX, with Maria Komandnaya reporting from the pitch.
