NEW YORK – Expanding its college football coverage and enhancing its commitment to storytelling, FOX Sports today unveils the new weekly show CFB: INSIDE SLANT, hosted by Jenny Taft, on FS1. The 30-minute program takes viewers beyond the football field with an inside look at the sport’s top stories and biggest newsmakers through features and in-depth interviews. The show premieres Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 7:00 PM ET.
The first episode of CFB: INSIDE SLANT features first-year UCLA head coach Chip Kelly, who faces his first major test with the Bruins on Saturday, Sept. 8, against Oklahoma at 1:00 PM ET on FOX. Kelly sits down to discuss his return to the college football sidelines for the first time since the 2012 season, what it means to him to be at UCLA and what he loves about coaching student-athletes.
CFB: INSIDE SLANT runs throughout college football’s regular season on FS1, airing at 7:00 PM ET on Wednesday, Sept. 5 and Sept. 12, before moving to Tuesday nights beginning Sept. 18, where it will typically appear at 10:30 or 11:00 PM ET. Taft, FOX Sports’ lead college football reporter and moderator on SKIP & SHANNON: UNDISPUTED, serves as the show’s host.
CFB: INSIDE SLANT enhances FOX Sports’ college football coverage, which, during the 2018 season, includes an impressive lineup of top games from the Big 12, Big Ten and Pac-12 conferences. FOX Sports is home to some of the most-anticipated matchups of the season, including USC at Stanford, Michigan at Ohio State and the Red River Showdown between Texas and Oklahoma. FOX Sports is also home to the Pac-12 and Big Ten championship games in addition to the San Francisco Bowl and San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl.
