Women’s World Cup™ Champion Meghan Klingenberg Joins FOX Sports for 2018 Concacaf Championship
2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup™ champion and Portland Thorns defender Meghan Klingenberg joins FOX Sports as a studio analyst for the 2018 Concacaf Championship. Klingenberg makes her FOX Sports debut today, Sunday, Oct. 7 at 5:00 PM ET on FS1 in the Panama-USA pregame show.
The World Cup™ winner joins host Rob Stone and lead studio analyst Alexi Lalas in Los Angeles for pre- and postgame coverage as the U.S., Panama, Mexico and Trinidad & Tobago continue their World Cup™ qualifying campaigns. The veteran defender helped the U.S. WNT win the 2015 Women’s World Cup™, and led the Thorns to an NWSL Shield and NWSL Championship. A four-year starter at the University of North Carolina, she appeared in 84 collegiate games and won two NCAA Championships.
JP Dellacamera and Aly Wagner are on the call for today’s Panama-USA match (FS1, FOX Sports App) live from Cary, N.C. Alex Curry reports from the sideline.
