MLS Commissioner, Newly Appointed U.S. Men’s National Team Coach Gregg Berhalter to Appear in Saturday’s MLS Cup on FOX
LOS ANGELES – The 2018 MLS season comes to a close Saturday, Dec. 8 on FOX, as first-time MLS Cup participants Atlanta United host the Portland Timbers in the 2018 MLS Cup. The broadcast features special guest appearances by MLS Commissioner Don Garber and newly appointed U.S. Men’s National Team Coach, Gregg Berhalter. Atlanta United’s head coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino, captain Michael Parkhurst and goalkeeper Brad Guzan as well as Portland Timbers’ Gio Savarese and Diego Valeri also join the show.
FOX Sports brings its full studio presence to Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the championship match, anchored by host Rob Stone and analysts Alexi Lalas and Maurice Edu. Coverage begins in prime time at 7:30 PM ET on the FOX broadcast network.
Once the action kicks off on the field, FOX Sports’ lead soccer broadcasters, play-by-play announcer John Strong and analyst Stu Holden, call the match with reporter Katie Witham.
