FS1 Rolls Out Tech Arsenal for 2019 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl
LOS ANGELES – FOX Sports rolls out brand new technology for its coverage of the eighth annual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl Saturday, Jan. 19, at 5:00 PM ET on FS1 from Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles.
For Saturday’s showcase event, FOX Sports deploys a brand new “chain cam,” featuring a camera embedded in the first-and-10 marker, giving viewers a new perspective in the middle of the action. In addition, a pole-mounted “arrow cam” positioned on the sidelines offers a bird’s eye view from the field.
Beyond new cameras, FOX Sports continues to make waves with its audio work, outfitting multiple coaches with live microphones throughout the game, including head coaches Chuck Pagano and Mike Tice. Viewers will be able to listen in on the respective benches, huddles and conversations from the sidelines.
FOX Sports’ college football and NFL experts lend their voice to the call, led by lead college football analyst Joel Klatt and NFL analysts Charles Davis and Michael Vick, alongside play-by-play broadcaster Dan Hellie. They are joined by reporters Bruce Feldman and Petros Papadakis.
The 2019 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on FS1 features a collection of the best seniors in college football showcasing their skills at historic Rose Bowl Stadium. For more information on the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, visit http://collegiate.nflpa.com/.
