LOS ANGELES – Today, FOX Sports announces WBC World Super Welterweight Champion Tony Harrison joins International Boxing Hall of Famer Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini and Emmy Award-winning host Chris Myers to call FS1 PBC FIGHT NIGHT: AUSTIN TROUT VS. TERRELL GAUSHA on Saturday, May 25 (8:00 PM ET) live from Beau Rivage Resort Casino in Biloxi, Miss. In addition, Jordan Hardy reports and interviews fighters, while Ray Flores serves as host on FS2 and FS1 ring announcer. Marcos Villegas works as unofficial scorer. On FOX Deportes, blow-by-blow announcer Adrian Garcia Marquez is joined by Jaime Motta to call the fights in Spanish.
The week’s PBC programming kicks off on Wednesday, May 22 (10:00 PM ET) on FS1 with a new episode of INSIDE PBC BOXING, where host Kate Abdo and analysts Shawn Porter and Abner Mares preview Saturday’s headliner between Trout and Gausha, as well as catch up with Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman ahead of their PPV showdown. They also talk to Caleb Plant and Mike Lee about their upcoming battle.
On Saturday, boxing begins with the FS2 PBC FIGHT NIGHT PRELIMS live at 6:00 PM ET on FS2, FOX Deportes and streamed on the FOX Sports app, as Ray Flores calls the fights with Harrison and Mancini. Puerto Rican Olympian Carlos Negron (20-2, 16 KOs) takes on Daniel Martz (18-6-1, 15 KOs) in an eight or 10-round heavyweight match, while hard-hitting cruiserweights Efe Apochi (7-0, 7 KOs) and Earl Newman (10-1-1, 7 KOs) battle in an eight-round matchup. The prelims also feature top prospect Amon Rashidi (6-0, 4 KOs) facing Alexander Centeno (4-0, 2 KOs) in a four- or six-round welterweight attraction.
The PBC FIGHT NIGHT main card continues at 8:00 PM ET on FS1, FOX Deportes and the FOX Sports app headlined by former super welterweight champion Austin “No Doubt” Trout (31-5, 17 KOs) and former title challenger Terrell Gausha (21-1, 10 KOs) in a 10-round super welterweight bout. In the co-feature, unbeaten super welterweight contender Chordale Booker (14-0, 7 KOs) battles rugged veteran Wale Omotoso (27-3, 21 KOs) in a 10-round match, plus light heavyweight contender Ahmed Elbiali (18-1, 15 KOs) battles Marlos Simões (13-1-2, 5 KOs) in a 10-round showdown.
Following the fights, Myers, Mancini and Harrison recap the evening on the 30-minute FS1 PBC POSTFIGHT SHOW at 10:00 PM ET, while reporter Hardy interviews winners.
PBC programming continues on FS1 on Sunday, May 26 (8:30 PM ET) with the premiere of FS1 PBC FACE TO FACE: DEVON ALEXANDER VS. IVAN REDKACH, immediately followed by FS1 PBC COUNTDOWN: DEVON ALEXANDER VS. IVAN REDKACH at 9:00 PM ET, previewing their upcoming headliner.
The squared circle heads to Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, Calif., the following week for FS1 PBC FIGHT NIGHT: DEVON ALEXANDER VS. IVAN REDKACH live on FS1 and FOX Deportes on Saturday, June 1 (8:00 PM ET), headlined by former two-division world champion Devon Alexander “The Great” taking on exciting Ivan “El Terrible” Redkach in a 10-round clash.
