FOX Sports Kicks Off the NFL’s 100th Season with NFC East Doubleheader
FOX NFL SUNDAY and FOX NFL KICKOFF OPEN THE SEASON ON FOX
NEW YORK – FOX Sports, home of Super Bowl LIV, kicks off its 26th season of NFL coverage Sunday, Sept. 8, with six games anchored by an NFC East doubleheader. Leading the day’s NFL coverage are FOX NFL SUNDAY, the No. 1 NFL pregame show for the last 25 years, and FOX NFL KICKOFF.
The day is highlighted by television’s No. 1-rated show for the last 10 years, AMERICA’S GAME OF THE WEEK, as the Dallas Cowboys host the New York Giants on FOX at 4:25 PM ET. Earlier Sunday, the Washington Redskins visit the Philadelphia Eagles at 1:00 PM ET.

Calling the Giants/Cowboys game are Emmy Award-winning play-by-play announcer Joe Buck and Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman who return for their 18th season as the NFL’s longest-tenured broadcast duo. Erin Andrews joins the lead team for her seventh season of reporting.
Play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt teams up with Charles Davis and veteran reporter Pam Oliver to call Eagles/Redskins. Oliver adds to her illustrious career, celebrating her 25th season as an NFL reporter with FOX.
Three-time Super Bowl Champion Mark Schlereth returns with veteran play-by-play announcer Dick Stockton and reporter Jennifer Hale. Stockton, Schlereth and Hale call the Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals from State Farm Stadium.
Kenny Albert and five-time Pro Bowl cornerback Rondé Barber partner with Lindsay Czarniak, who is making her FOX Sports NFL reporting debut when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the San Francisco 49ers at Raymond James Stadium.
Veteran play-by-play announcer Chris Myers once again joins analyst Daryl “Moose” Johnston and reporter Laura Okmin. Myers, Johnston and Okmin call the matchup pairing the 2018 NFC Champion Los Angeles Rams vs. the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium.
Thom Brennaman completes the FOX Sports roster alongside analyst Chris Spielman and reporter Shannon Spake as they call the Atlanta Falcons and the Minnesota Vikings from U.S. Bank Stadium.
FOX NFL SUNDAY, the No. 1 NFL pregame show for the last 25 years, returns at 12:00 PM ET with hosts Terry Bradshaw and Curt Menefee and analysts Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson and Michael Strahan. Premier NFL insider Jay Glazer, comedic prognosticator Rob Riggle and rules analysts Mike Pereira and Dean Blandino also contribute. Earlier this year, the show was inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame.
Sunday’s lineup starts off with FOX NFL KICKOFF at 11:00 AM ET. The one-hour pregame show is hosted by Charissa Thompson who is joined by 14-time NFL Pro Bowler Tony Gonzalez, four-time NFL Pro Bowler Michael Vick, Super Bowl-winning defensive coordinator Dave Wannstedt and longtime sports media personality Colin Cowherd. Cooper Manning lends his expertise and humor as contributor, while Peter Schrager returns as an NFL Insider.
