On July 21, 2007, global soccer superstar and cultural icon David Beckham made his debut for the LA Galaxy. The Beckham Effect examines the ups and downs of Beckham’s six-year tenure with the LA Galaxy and its impact on the sports landscape. Those experiences planted the seeds for Beckham’s latest endeavor as an owner of 2020 MLS expansion club Inter Miami CF.
