Saints Seal Trip to Super Bowl XLIV with Overtime Field Goal
This Thursday at 4:00 PM ET on FS1, NFL on FOX Greatest Games presents the 2009 NFC Championship between the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings. After the city of New Orleans faced devasting challenges in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, unheralded Saints kicker Garrett Hartley completed a 40-yard overtime field goal lifting the team into a 31-28 victory and punching the team’s ticket to Super Bowl XLIV.
