FOX Sports Wins Three Webby Awards
FOX Sports won three 2020 Webby Awards for its outstanding digital and social coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™. FOX Sports won the Webby Award and People’s Voice Award for its overall digital coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™, as well as the People’s Voice Award for its social video feature of Brandi Chastain’s famous 1999 World Cup goal.
The 24th Annual Webby Awards are one of the biggest in the organization’s history, with nearly 13,000 entries from all 50 states and more than 70 countries and 2.5 million votes cast by 600,000 people in the Webby People’s Voice Awards. The full list of winners can be found here.
